Water Sports

Operating from the resort’s lagoons and pool decks, Blue Adventures is on hand to organize a full range of water sports, toys and snorkelling equipment, as well as scuba and snorkelling lessons and excursions. You can hire aqua bikes, kayaks, water hammocks and even personal submarines to explore Atlantis’ lagoons and reefs at your leisure. Everything is provided for you by Blue Adventures attentive staff.

Aquaventure

Aquaventure is Atlantis’ on-site water park. It covers 141-acres and is complimentary for all guests staying at the resort. The Atlantean-themed attractions include a mile-long river ride with rolling rapids and waves, multiple high-speed water slides, 11 unique pools and a spectacular kids’ area that features a water-play fort. A great way to make a splash and unwind away from the poker room.

Dolphin Cay

The Dolphin habitat at Atlantis is one of the world’s largest, and its seven million gallons of sea water are home to a pod of Atlantic bottle-nosed dolphins. Dolphin Cay is a sophisticated environment where you can have an unforgettable encounter with these remarkable animals. Choose from either shallow or deep water encounters for a dolphin experience that will be the highlight of any trip.

Walking with Sharks

You can be one of the few people to walk across Atlantis’ famous shark habitat. Using state-of-the-art clear glass helmets, explorers can walk on the floor of the Mayan Temple shark enclosure and come face to face with its occupants. Non-swimmers are welcome, and expert guides will accompany you on this once-in-a-lifetime experience as you walk with the sharks.

Marine Habitats

As well as the shark and dolphin environments, Atlantis’ other habitats house thousands of animals from hundreds of species. The Dig, which is a series of large aquariums situated beneath the lobby of the Royal Towers, is the world’s largest open air marine habitat, housing an incredible display of wildlife. The Predator Lagoon is a must see, with its acrylic tunnel that lets you walk under the exhibits.

Atlantis Golf

Golf is perfect for downtime away from the tournaments and you won’t be disappointed with the facilities at Atlantis. Operated by Troon Golf and designed by Tom Weiskopf, the Ocean Club is an 18-hole, par 72 championship golf course that stretches over 7,100 yards. With beautiful seaside green and tee settings this breath-taking course has something for everyone, and there is also Pro Shop and Clubhouse to make your golfing experience at Atlantis one to remember.

Yacht and Fishing Charters

Atlantis has a variety of charter fishing boats available and they are the perfect way to get out on the water and pit your wits against the Caribbean’s game fish. Even if you don’t fancy fishing, a luxury boat charter is fantastic way to explore the natural beauty of the Bahamas. The captains have excellent local knowledge, there are a range of trips available and advanced booking is recommended.

Entertainment

As you would expect from a resort that boasts the Caribbean’s finest attractions and activities, the entertainment options are unsurpassed. You can dance the night away at Aura, Atlantis’ 9,000 sq ft nightclub that is operated by PURE Management, other options include Jokers Wild Comedy Club, and the Atlantis Theatre which screens the latest Hollywood blockbusters.
